About Us

The Biological Sciences Division (BSD) Facilities Services (BSDFS) department at the University of Chicago supports the BSD’s  research and education community, from principal investigators to laboratory staff, academic staff to residents, undergraduate students to post doctoral scholars. Our comprehensive services and dedicated professionals ensure the safety, efficiency and welcoming environment of all our varied facilities which support research and education.
 

The Biological Sciences Division – Facilities Services (BSD-FS) office provides support the University’s medical, research, and education missions. We are responsible for managing approximately 6 million gross feet of space located on the University of Chicago’s Hyde Park campus.
